2025 Late Harvest Riesling

Mount Barker Riesling, grown on nearly 27 year old vines.

The vineyard we source our fruit from has predominantly Geisenheim clone which lends itself to flavours of citrus, unripe stonefruit and apricot.

When handling Riesling we filter the juice to a brightness before fermentation, to ensure there is no interference from any solids which can detract from the aromas and flavour in aromatic varietals such as this. We stop the fermentation prior to it finishing, at a particular residual sugar that we like to see in this style of Riesling. The balance of the acid complements the sweetness in this wine.

Aromas of orange blossoms, open up to a palate of meyer lemon and stonefruit, this wine semi-sweet with 20 grams/L of residual sugar.
