2021 Cabernet Sauvignon

Deep ruby red in colour, a classic cool climate Cabernet bouquet of blackcurrants and blackberries, with cedar and cigar box notes and hints of tobacco leaf. Palate has great power and drive, with the berry fruits complimenting the silky balanced tannins. Great structure and length ensure this wine will age gracefully for ten or more years.

Winemaking:

100% Cabernet Sauvignon. Machine harvested fruit. Crushed and destemmed to stainless steel fermenter, fermented with inoculated yeast. 12days on skins before being pressed to French oak (27% new). 15months barrel maturation.
