Ray Jordan for Winepilot
A Bordeaux blend of Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Merlot. Terrific intensity of dark fruits on the nose with plummy blackberry and a slight dark chocolate nuance. The palate is seamless with firmish chalky tannins adding structural support and a neat lick of understated oak. Balanced and well-framed. Ideal medium-term cellaring.

Campbell Mattinson
This is a blend of cabernet franc, cabernet sauvignon and merlot from the Great Southern region of Western Australia. It’s a medium-weight red with loganberry, black cherry, mulberry and redcurrant flavours flowing attractively through the palate, mint and cut grass notes floating over the top. There’s a whisper of vanilla too, and a good spread of fine-grained tannin. The drinkability factor here is high, and it’s decidedly food-friendly too.
