The River Hawk, also known as the Osprey, is the dominant bird of prey found along the banks of the Kalgan River. We can often spot them from the vineyard, on their daily hunt for fish.

Smooth and effortlessly presented medium-bodied cool climate shiraz. Loads of peppery dried herb fragrances float across the mix of mulberry and dark plum. The slightly chalky limestone acidity on the finish helps hold the line with precision.

Winemaking:

Crushed and destemmed to a closed red fermenter for fermentation. Ferment underwent three pump overs a day until completion. Pressed off after 11 days on skins to French oak, a third new.

Matured for 15 months in French oak.
