2022 Pinot Noir

Sourced from the Two People’s Bay vineyard in Nanarup, grown on 27-year-old vines.

A cool-climate Pinot Noir, wild raspberry and cherry intermingle with a touch of clove spice. Time in bottle has given this wine the opportunity to develop tertiary characteristics, giving it a savoury and complex finish. This wine is smooth and has good length.

Winemaking:

Machine-harvested, crushed, and destemmed to an open red fermenter for fermentation. Underwent two plunges daily until complete. Pressed to tank and allowed to settle before transfer to French oak with light lees. Matured in oak for 9 months, 18% new.
