Holiday hours…

It’s business as usual at the Cellar Door, open 10am to 3pm from Wednesday to Sunday.

Though we will be closing to spend time with our loved ones and celebrate the year that’s been on:

At the winery this week, Brenden has been working on getting our ‘25 Chardonnay ready for bottling, currently focussing on protein stabilisation, with a little help from our friend Bentonite. Our Pinot Noir plantings are popping up out of their guards to greet the summer sunshine. Tim spent a day fixing the Gator and chasing snakes around the property. Phil nearly got promoted to chief sheep wrangler, only for Tim to pip him to the finish line, yet again. And the Carnaby’s Cockatoos have been out in the vineyard all week, squawking at the craziness happening below them.

Christmas certainly is coming.

Loud, echoing calls overhead, the birds settled on posts in the vineyard. Ngoolark / Carnaby Cockatoos watched over our Pinot plantings yesterday as they jumped from post to post, the three of them playing before once again taking flight.
